Human Types

In the case I ever decide to start drawing the illustration tutorials from Cedarseed will come in handy.

Not that it would be useful in any measurable manner to know this stuff, but:

The archetype male statue is 8 heads tall. For women it is 7.5 heads.

Also to know the difference in male and female profiles for drawing purposes is hard to top considering it’s redundancy for my daily life, still:

So long I just enjoy finding that thous stereotypes of ethnicity I have are actually very well reflected in drawing guides.

Typical Japanese profile:

Japanese-head-profile

Typical Korean profile:

korean-head-profile

Boy, did my girlfriend get pissed when I showed her that she is from Korean origins. (Her family has a recorded history of more than 1100 years descending form a Shogun = as Japanese as it gets)

All images are from the site: Cedarseed which include awesome guides on how to create stereotypes that are conform with the “sketching artist’s” few of the world.
