		<description>In general I dont enjoy gift exchange: people give me stuff I dont like and I am never sure whether somebody will like my choice. I think it can be such a waste of money and I am always tempted to ask people to give me the amount of cash they are planning to spend on me: one dollar is always better than a useless ugly pin, right? My solution: gift lists containing the specification of things I would actually like, price range is wide -from hair pins to an airplane ticket-. I tend to prefer practical gifts (why does nobody pay your health insurance for Christmas for example!).

BTW I loved your farewell gift when we left Japan.
